After four exciting years at TRUMPF Machine Tools, I would like to sincerely thank my colleagues from research and development for the exciting time spent together. Sometimes, when we were busy developing radically new digital solutions for sheet metal processing, the tried and tested ways of development simply didn't work anymore. What then helped us was to get the best out of the known approaches (exploitation) and combine them with new disciplines and exploratory working methods in a collaborative ecosystem (exploration).
